What are Saltwater and Soil candles made from?

Our candles are hand-poured using 100% coconut wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free, premium grade fragrance oils.

What is a wood wick and why do you use it?

Wood wicks provide a soft crackling sound reminiscent of a fireplace. They also give a wider, horizontal flame for a cozy glow and a slower, more even burn.

How do I get the best burn for my candle?

Trim your wood wick to about 1/8” before each burn. Let your candle melt all the way to the edges of the jar (a full melt pool) during the first burn to avoid tunneling.

Where are your candles made?

Each candle is poured by hand in small batches in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Our process is rooted in coastal simplicity and care.
